October 11th was Crazy Hat Day at the Italian American Club. A delicious dinner of spinach manicotti with meatballs, veggies, salad and cannoli cake for dessert was served to some 80 folks releasing their inner Mad Hatter and having a great time.

Then the atmosphere changed as the competition for the craziest hat turned fierce!

The eleven contestants strutted their wares through the room. The three impartial Judges had a very difficult time paring this wonderful group down to the three entertaining finalists. Final results were: 3rd Place Contestant Anna Mullaney, 2nd Place Contestant Sammy D’Atrio and First Place prize went to Linda Lombardo. CONGRATS to all the participants!
